I tried that line.
I asked in writing if the camera had been calibrated, they wrote back saying it had been without offering any evidence.
Then demanded the fine money again.
I got the feeling I was going to get that answer regardless.

Mad Dog, if it's in a built up area it could be that there is a playground near the road and they don't want feckless, stupid cunts driving where kids are in close proximity at 50 through a 30 zone.
Maybe some of you need to go on a speed awareness course to see that driving like a cunt and getting caught isn't just all about revenue, it's about protecting people as well.

It was on the A12 at the aldborough road south lights going WESTBOUND. I could have sworn that camera was for red light jumpers........

I got a ticket last year... thought it was strange as where I got done I know about the speed camera and regularly keep to the limits.... played on my mind for a day and then realised I was not even in the country on that day (was in California) ... I had lent my car to my 69 year old Mother In Law!! Oh she done the naughty girl course rather than took the points!

Bloke here at work has in-laws in North Wales.
While they were visiting,he got a speeeding ticket and decided to do the speed awareness course (up there)combined with a visit to the in-laws.
He got another ticket on the M40 on his way up there
